Guns and Camo, LLC — Effective March 6, 2026

Program Overview

Guns and Camo, LLC sends transactional SMS messages to customers regarding their firearms orders. These messages are limited to order-related notifications and are not used for marketing or promotional purposes.

Messages you may receive include:

  • Order confirmations and status updates
  • Invoice notifications and payment reminders
  • Shipping and delivery updates with tracking information
  • Firearm transfer completion notices (Form 4473)
  • Pickup reminders with store hours and location

How We Obtain Consent

Customers provide explicit consent to receive SMS messages during the order process. Consent is collected in the following ways:

In-Store / Point of Sale

When placing an order in person, customers provide their phone number on our order intake form. The form includes the following disclosure directly above the phone number field:

"By providing your phone number, you agree to receive transactional SMS messages from Guns and Camo, LLC including order confirmations, invoice notifications, shipping updates, and transfer notifications. Message frequency varies. Msg & Data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe."

Customers actively write or type their phone number into a dedicated field beneath this disclosure. Phone numbers are not pre-filled or collected from third-party sources.

Invoice / Payment Platform

When we create an invoice for a customer through our payment processing platform (FluidPay), the customer's phone number — previously provided during order intake — is included on the invoice. The invoice email contains a link to pay, and the customer's contact information (including phone) is displayed. The SMS consent disclosure is presented during the order intake process before the invoice is generated.

Phone / Remote Orders

When a customer places an order by phone, we verbally read the SMS consent disclosure and record the customer's agreement. The disclosure states:

"We'll send you text message updates about your order — things like order confirmation, invoice, shipping, and pickup notifications. Standard message and data rates apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out. Is that okay?"

Customer consent is noted in our order management system alongside the phone number.

Consent Record Keeping

All customer consent is recorded and stored in our order management system (GunStore.io). Each customer record includes:

  • The phone number provided
  • The method of consent (in-store form, phone verbal, or online)
  • The date consent was obtained
  • The order associated with the consent

Consent records are retained for the duration of the customer relationship and for a minimum of 5 years after the last transaction.

Invoice Notification

Invoice INV-2091 for $549.00 has been sent to your email. Payment is due within 7 days. Questions? Call (830) 308-4891. Reply STOP to opt out.

Transfer Complete

Your firearm transfer at Guns and Camo is complete. Please retain your copy of Form 4473 for your records. Reply STOP to opt out.

Shipping Update

Guns and Camo: Your order ORD-1052 has shipped via FedEx. Tracking: 123456789. Estimated delivery: Friday. Reply STOP to opt out.

Pickup Reminder

Reminder: Your firearm is ready for pickup at Guns and Camo, 7644 McKinney Hills, San Antonio. Store hours: Mon-Sat 9-6. Reply STOP to opt out.

Opt-Out Instructions

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time:

  • Reply STOP to any message from us

After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message. You will not receive any further SMS messages unless you re-subscribe by contacting us directly.

Message frequency varies based on your order activity. Typically 2-6 messages per order lifecycle. Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier and plan.
